NetSys is proud to announce that it has successfully delivered a selection of products from its meteorological software suite to the Thailand Meteorological Department (TMD).
The project spans a period of more than 2 years and requires a wide collection of meteorological software, ranging from message switching and handling, forecasting and plotting, pre-flight information briefing, integration with various other in-house applications and an aviation web portal.
The software is deployed at the TMD Headquarters in Bangna and at the international airports Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang in Bangkok as well as at eight other international airports throughout Thailand.
The meteorological needs of all the other domestic airports are serviced via a redundant WEB portal on the Bangkok servers. The software is installed on 16 physical and virtual servers and 80 dual screen high performance workstations.
This deployment enables TMD to remain compliant with current as well as the ever evolving WMO and ICAO standards and regulations and also afford it the assurance of staying abreast of changing technological advances whilst still offering a comprehensive, efficient and reliable service to its users.
